Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Cartersville Gas Station

Cartersville, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department is working to track down an armed robbery suspect accused of targeting a convenience store early Thursday morning.

A man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask entered the Short N Easy gas station at 429 Grassdale Road around 7:27 a.m. Feb. 18.
The man, who has a slim build and medium height, presented a handgun and “was able to run from the store with an unknown amount of cash,” said Lt. Mike Bettikofer, Cartersville police spokesperson.

No other physical features of the suspect could be determined.
No one was injured in the incident, and investigators continue to review video footage in an attempt to identify the suspect.
