Police Work To Identify Cartersville Church Burglary Suspect

Cartersville, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department is asking its citizens to help identify a man accused of burglarizing a church Tuesday evening.

The photos above show who police believe is the suspect who allegedly broke into LifePoint Church at 610 North Tennessee Street the evening of Feb. 9.

The photos show the suspect appears to be a black male with a goatee or a “short, stubble beard,” the agency said.

Police say the suspect came on foot to the church and while nothing was taken, the building was damaged during the crime.

The man is also a suspect in a burglary that occurred at Church Without Walls at 214 Nelson Street. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Hooten at 770-607-6244.
