A Cartersville woman is accused of exploiting a disabled Rome resident.
According to the Rome News-Tribune, Elizabeth Westbrook Lindsay has been charged with felony exploitation and intimidation of disabled adults, elder persons and residents.
On June 1, Lindsay, 33, allegedly forged and cash a check from a woman’s bank account and added another cellphone line to the victim’s plan with AT&T Wireless.

According to the warrant cited by Rome News-Tribune, the two-year contract was valued at $960 and came with a $315 disconnection fee.
As of Wednesday evening, Lindsay remained in the Floyd County Jail, the newspaper reports.
