Report: Man Tried To Lure Children From School Bus Stop
The following information was obtained from an incident report released by the Bartow County Sheriff's Office.

A woman reported to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office that a man allegedly tried to lure her two children away as they returned home from school.
A deputy with the agency was dispatched to a suspicious male call around 3:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 on Orchard Road in unincorporated Adairsville.

According to the incident report released by the agency, the woman told authorities that “a male tried to get her children to come to him” as they got off the school bus on Old Highway 41 at Orchard Road.

One of the children saw a man wearing all black standing in the wood line, the report states. The man allegedly ”motioned” for one of the children to come to him, but both children “ran home,” according to the report.

The suspect, whose race or ethnicity is unknown, was reportedly wearing all black clothing and a mask.
Deputies checked the area for anyone who may fit the description, but did not make contact with persons of interest.
