Warrant Sweep Takes Guns, Drugs Off Cartersville Streets

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department on Thursday carried out a so-called warrant sweep with the help of detectives and agents with the Cartersville-Bartow Joint Drug Task Force. The operation, Cartersville police spokesperson Lt. Mike Bettikofer said, resulted in firearms and drugs being removed from the city streets.

It also yielded the arrest of several individuals who had outstanding warrants for their arrests. Those arrested and charged at various addresses around the city were:

• Brandi Anderson - Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana less than 1oz

100 Chimney Lane

• Kadeem Buford - Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
• Matthew Floyd Jr. - Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
• Patrick Printup - Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
• Samuel Wilson - Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Felony

12 Crestwood Drive

• Monique White - Criminal Trespass, Battery, Possession of Marijuana less than 1oz
• Angelique Leeks - Possession of Marijuana less than 1oz

• Kaysha Godfrey - Theft by Shoplifting, Probation Violation
