Wife Charged With Killing Husband Arrested In Cartersville

Frank William Davidson, 60, was found shot to death inside the carport at his Cobb County home.

KENNESAW, GA -- The wife of a man found dead more than three years ago in his home has been charged with his murder.

Cobb County police investigators on Wednesday apprehended Sharon Davidson, 57, in Cartersville around 6:20 p.m., the agency said Thursday.

Davidson is charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in connection to the death of her husband, Frank William Davidson, 60.

Cobb police were dispatched to a call on April 22, 2013, at a home in the 3500 block of Paul Samuel Road in unincorporated Kennesaw.

Police arrived on the scene to find the body of a deceased male lying in the carport of the home. Detectives have not released how Davidson was killed, but noted he "died under circumstance that indicate foul play."

However, investigators later revealed that Davidson was shot inside the carport. Sharon Davidson is currently held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
