Woman Hit By Car While Walking Her Dogs in Bartow County
The victim suffered spinal and head trauma stemming from the collision, which occurred Friday evening on Wilderness Camp Road.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A woman was transported to an Atlanta hospital Friday evening after she was hit by a vehicle in Bartow County.
Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the accident along Wilderness Camp Road in White and found a woman in her 40s lying on the ground.
Brad Cothran, spokesperson with Bartow EMS, said the woman was "walking along the road with her dogs when she was struck from behind."

Crews evaluated the patient, who appeared to have suffered head and spinal trauma. She was subsequently airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
