Cartersville, GA -- A 38-year-old woman suffered no apparent injuries Wednesday evening when she was hit by a car in Cartersville.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision along Grassdale Road near McDonald’s.
Crews arrived at the scene and found the victim alert ”with no obvious life-threatening injuries,” said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.

Cothran said the victim was transported by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center for evaluation of any possible internal injuries.
