African American Genealogy: Gwinnett County Residents Can Learn How To Find Ancestors
The Snellville Library in Gwinnett County is offering a genealogy class during Black History Month.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – During Black History Month, the Snellville Branch Library is offering a program for anyone interested in researching their African American genealogy.
There will be two sessions, one on Thursday, and the other on Thursday, February 24, both at the Snellville branch at 2740 Lenora Church Road, Snellville. Both will run from 2 - 6:30 p.m.
The drop-in program is for anyone who is interested in getting started with researching their family history or just needs a refresher, according to the library. Participants will learn tips and learn new techniques for uncovering information about their ancestors.
