Alert: Man With Dementia Missing in Dacula

UPDATE: Gwinnett County Police say Freddie Brooks has been found safe and reunited with his family.

DACULA, GA — Police are seeking the public's help in finding a man with dementia who has gone missing in Dacula.

Freddie Brooks, 60, was last seen at 2771 Eunice Holcomb Circle in Dacula at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

His wife called police and officers have been searching for him since then.

Brooks suffers from dementia, but is fully capable of walking, police said. He is described as a white male, standing 5'8" and weighing about 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a red and white Loganville football cap.

Anyone who sees Brooks is asked to call 911.
