Fire Extinguisher Technician / Kitchen Fire Suppression System

Safe-T Fire Protection Is a full service fire protection company specializing in inspection, installation and repairs. We are currently seeking highly motivated, customer service oriented extinguisher and kitchen suppression system technician.

Job Duties

• Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems
• Inspecting and repairing portable fire extinguishers
• Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers
• Emergency / Exit lighting inspection and repairs
• Identifying NFPA code and non-conformance issues.
• Maintain proper documentation for all work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems and extinguishers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A current and valid driver’s license
• Must have knowledge and understanding of all NFPA codes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be customer oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs., work overhead, and work varied hours including on call

Job Type: Full-time

Required experience:

• At Least one-year experience: 1 year
• Will consider training the right individual

Required license or certification:

• Valid Clean Driver’s License

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
