Antique Jones and Higgins wardrobe. In good solid shape. Has all the original door hardware, screws, and nails. This belonged to my Grandmother. I’m not exactly sure of the exact age but I can remember this piece of furniture in her house as young child and I am 42 now.
I have searched online and found no Jones and Higgins furniture for sale inside the USA. Jones and Higgins was a prestigious home furnisher in London England. They were established in 1867 and finally closed their doors in 1980. Jones and Higgins was not sold in the US and had to be ordered and shipped from the Peckham store in London.
It has been moved a few times over the years but mostly sat covered up in a storage unit. It could use refinishing as it has some surface scratches from being moved, although refinishing might diminish the value. It could be a great project piece, or someone might want to keep it as is for the more rustic look. The dimensions are 70”H x 36”W x 22”D. $400 Serious inquiries only.
