Author and Inventor Passes Away

Ewell Eugene "Gene" Greeson was 74 years of age.

Ewell Eugene “Gene” Greeson, age 74 of Dacula, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Greeson served in the United States Air Force and was an author and inventor.

Greeson is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Greeson of Dacula. He is also survived by his children: Walter and Michelle Greeson, Statham; Florie and David Starnes, LaGrange; Larry and Dianne Castle, Oceanside, Calif.; Mark and Lisa Castle, Gainesville and Rose Marie Castle and Stephen Ezakovich, Oceanside, Calif. Other surviving family members include brother and sister-in-law Charles and Shirley Greeson of Newnan; sister Pat Irvine of Shannon; sister-in-law Marcell Greeson of Rome; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046.
