Cancer, Prevention or Cure, The Choice is Yours, What Would You Rather Have?

If you had to choose, would you rather have a cure for cancer or a way to prevent it? Sound simple but...

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” this old saying may hold the answer to protecting your family and helping to prevent cancer in your home. The healthy living movement is continually growing in America. We all hope to live long healthy lives and our actions prove it. Gym memberships and health food stores are on every corner.

Often we hear of people that get cancer and they had taken all the precautions that they were aware of. They don’t smoke, they eat healthy food and exercise regularly but they still get cancer. A very simple but often overlooked prevention is ensuring you and your family live in a healthy home.

I am amazed at how few people I talk with have ever heard of radon. In Gwinnett county only about two in ten can accurately describe what radon is or how it can impact their health. The EPA, Surgeon General and The American Cancer Society recommend that EVERY home be tested for this radioactive gas. If radon is found in your home, it can be fixed for less than most other common household repairs. Gwinnett county has one of the highest concentrations of homes with elevated levels detected in Georgia.

The current estimate is that 21,000 people will die as a result of radon exposure. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers and it can be prevented by having your home professionally tested.

We are not in the business of creating a cure for cancer but we are in the business of preventing cancer everyday through professional radon testing. To learn more, visit http://www.radonadvisor.com  or call 770-338-0051 – Jason Moss – Saving Lungs and Lives
