I started this post early yesterday but when my fingers caused it to disappear, I gave up. So it's a new day, let's try this again!
I couldn't help but think about a Keith Urban song when I thought about the weather today.
"I Pray that it's raining on Sunday
Stormin' like crazy
We'll hide under the covers all afternoon
Baby whatever comes Monday
Can take care of itself
'Cause we've got better things that we can do
When it's raining on Sunday"

So yes, the rain is on the way. It's currently located just south of Atlanta and it's working it's way our direction and should arrive before noon. It's looking like most of the day will have rain, so enjoy the indoors, it will at least keep you out of the pollen! Speaking of pollen, it has dropped since our peak of 8024 on Thursday. We're still in the extremely high range but much better than before.

Luckily, the drought has been broken in Georgia! There are only a few small areas that still have a slight drought classification, but the rest of the state is currently drought free!

Again, I highly recommend this page for radar and other weather information. I'm using this page a LOT now, as it has most any layer you may need to view including NEXRAD Level 2 radar data:
