Christmas in Dacula 2016 Set For Saturday

A fun run, car show, live nativity and Santa's village are all part of the entertainment for the third-annual festival.

DACULA, GA — A fun run, Santa's village and car show are just part of the entertainment on tap Saturday for Christmas in Dacula.

The third-annual event will be hosted by will be hosted by Hebron Chuch on the corners of Fence and Dacula Roads, offering family-friendly fun to usher in the holidays and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

In addition, there will be a live nativity, photos with Santa, food trucks, crafts sales and the city's annual lighting of the Christmas tree.

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to bring cash for on-site offerings and to consider making an on-site donation to Nothing But the Truth and C.A.R.E. ministries. There also will be kettles from Salvation Army at the event.

A $5 per person wristband will allow all-day rides on many attractions, including a rock-climbing wall, carnival rides, a bounce house, obstacle course and a train in Santa's village.

The day's events begin at 8 a.m. with the Jingle Jog 5K fun run.

The car show begins at 11 a.m. and the rest of the festival starts at noon. The festival closes at 8 p.m.
