'Christmas in Dacula' set for Sunday

Annual event, at corner of Dacula and Fence roads, runs from 3-8 p.m.

“Christmas in Dacula,” the holiday festival sponsored by the City of Dacula, the Dacula Business Association and Hebron Baptist Church, is set for Sunday, December 6, from 3-8 p.m.

The event will be at the corner of Fence and Dacula roads.

Admission is free, but organizers ask that attendees bring one item of canned or packaged food to donate to the Hebron Food Pantry.

In 2014, organizers say, the event collected more than 2,000 pounds of food for the needy.

New events and activities at this years “Christmas in Dacula” festival include a 5K “Jingle Jog” beginning at 2 p.m., a live nativity from Prospect United Methodist Church, more food trucks and “premium attractions” for children.
