Gwinnett firefighters battled ‘multiple’ grass fires Saturday morning along the west-bound lanes of Ga. 316.

The fires were seperate and spread from Drowning Creek Road to Harbins Road in the Dacula area, Gwinnett Fire said in a news release.
Firefighters responded to a report of a grass fire around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The fires were under control by noon, according to a fire department news release.

The cause of the fires was not immediately known.
Equipment at the scene included four engines.
