Cupcake Bakery Coming to Dacula

Do you love cupcakes?

In just a few weeks, Dacula residents will be able to satisfy their sweet cravings at the new Cupcake Diva Girlz.

Owner Ramona Hampton, who also owns Custom Design Cakes, said she saw a need for a bakery focused on cupcakes. Hampton’s daughter also encouraged her mother to open the store.

“She said, ‘Let’s do cupcakes momma. Everybody always asks for cupcakes and yours are so good’,” Hampton explained.

Hampton plans to offer 110 flavors of cupcakes. Each day, 10-20 flavors will be available. According to Hampton, her most popular flavors include Key Lime, red velvet and the prima donna, a chocolate cupcake infused with cream cheese filling and white chocolate “sparks.”

Though the main product at the new bakery will be cupcakes, Hampton will offer additional desserts.

“We do wedding cakes, custom birthday cakes and a couple more desserts,” Hampton said.

Cupcake Diva Girlz will open the first week in April. Hampton plans to hold a grand opening celebration during the second weekend of April. The store will be located at 465 Dacula Road, Suite D (the former home of ).
