Dacula Blockbuster Going Out of Business

Less than a year after the , the is also going out of business.

The store, located at 710 Dacula Road, is currently in the process of liquidating all store merchandise and fixtures. According to a store employee, the business will close by mid-February.

Blockbuster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September of 2010. In February 2011, Blockbuster announced plans to sell the company. On April 26, most of the company's assets were sold to DISH Network Corporation in a bankruptcy auction. Blockbuster now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of DISH Network.
