Dacula Council Members to Be Sworn in Jan. 5

Two Dacula council members are scheduled to be sworn in during Thursday's night city council meeting.

, who was unopposed during the election, will take her oath of office as will councilman-elect Hubert Wells. . Wells and Montgomery were forced into a runoff when neither candidate secured enough votes to win the Nov. 8 election outright. Wells, a former Dacula councilman and mayoral candidate, .

• REZONING APPLICATION: Case # 2011-CD-RZ-02. Applicant: Lloyd deLatour, Owner: Dacula Design Group, LLC requests rezoning from OI Office – Institutional District to AG Agricultural District for a 2.5 acre portion of the subject property.    The Property is located in the 5th District, Land Lot 298, Parcel Number 004 and contains 2.50 acres more or less.
• Recertify City of Dacula Ethics Ordinance.
• Adopt the Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System Restated Defined Benefit Retirement Plan Adoption Agreement for the City of Dacula.
