Dacula Gets Defensive in Win Over Rival Mill Creek
The Falcons are now 2-0 after holding the Hawks scoreless in the second half and recovering three fumbles.

Giovanni Lugo scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, and the Dacula defense held Mill Creek scoreless in the second half as the Falcons beat the Hawks 28-21 Friday night in Hoschton.
The win for Dacula, which is now 2-0, snapped a three-game losing streak to Mill Creek, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.
C.J. Mayes rushed for 122 yards, including an 88-yard touchdown. Kevin Ficklin rushed for 70, including a 55-yard TD. Daniel David had 201 total yards and a TD for Mill Creek.

The game was tied 21-21 at halftime. Mill Creek (1-2) lost three fumbles in the second half, helping Dacula to the win.
Dacula can move to 3-0 next week at Berkmar. Mill Creek is idle.
