Dacula Hosts the NGSL Invitational Swim Meet

Dacula Dolphin host NGSL Invitational Meet this Saturday June 22nd.

The Dacula Dolphin Swim team has long been the place where children from Buford, Hamilton Mill, Auburn, and Lawrenceville and of course Dacula got their first introduction to competitive swimming. Many of the Dacula and Mill Creek high school swimmers first touched the water here at  Dacula park. This coming Saturday, the Dacula Dolphins will be hosting the NGSL Invitational Swim meet. This is one of the four major meets the NGSL holds each year.

Your very own Dacula Dolphins host this meet every summer. Swimmers from all over North Georgia will be traveling to Dacula to participate in this event. NGSL Swimmers who did not qualify for Pentathlon (NGSL Iron Man) have been invited to this event. It is our great pleasure to host this event, and we welcome our surrounding resident to come and cheer the children on. Should you decide to come to the event, please bring a chair, area outside the pool deck is available for sitting. Our visitors rotate in and out allowing everyone the ability to see their children swim. We welcome visitors, but also ask that you follow a similar rotation. There will also be a concession stand available, so if you are just visiting the park and wish some refreshment, please drop by and visit us. The Dacula Dolphins and the NGSL Invitational are held in partnership with Gwinnett Parks and Recreation.

There has been many articles in the Dacula Patch about the swim team over the last few months, and we hope that you take this opportunity to visit us. Please understand, that although we would love to talk to our visitors, this is not the venue to find out more information because all of the Dolphin’s will be assisting in some capacity in this event. If you would like to know more about the Dacula Dolphin Swim Team, please visit us at http://daculadolphins.swim-team.us/. You can also follow us on twitter @DaculaDolphinSw.
