
Earline Curtis-Hanson, of Lawrenceville, GA, formally of Crossville, AL, went home to be with her Lord on July 23, 2011.
Earline was retired from the Environmental Protection Agency after 25 years and was a member of Dacula Church of God.

She is predeceased by her parents, James Earl & Eula-Mae Curtis, her brother James Edwin Curtis, and her husband, Gerald Scott Hanson. She is survived by her children Connie and Kevin Slater of Auburn, GA and Regina Hanson of Atlanta, her Grand-daughter Stephanie Smith of Auburn, her 2 great Grandchildren, Chase and Kayla Smith of Auburn, her sister and brother-in-law Charline & Jerry Phillips of Grayson, GA and her aunts Bessie Kerlin and Florine Parks of Lawrenceville, GA, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Monday, July 25, 2011 and 1-3 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton RD, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-962-3100.

Charles William Weed was born in Charleston, S.C. on Aug. 26, 1943 and passed away on July 23, 2011 after being diagnosed with lung cancer 23 months ago, yet was blessed by God to have most of those months with only minimal discomfort.
After graduating from Tucker High School in 1961, Charles enrolled in Southern Technical Institute in Marietta, earning an A.S. degree in Building Construction. He worked in estimating, sales and project management in structural steel fabrication and participated in numerous high rise office buildings built in Atlanta since the early 1970s. He completed his career working with friends at King Steel, Inc. Charles was a member of Lawrenceville Lodge No. 131, F&AM, Yaarab Shrine in Atlanta, and was president of Gwinnett Shrine Club in 1989. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, where he served as an usher which he thoroughly enjoyed, meeting many wonderful people.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Wm. Thurmond and Cornelia Weed. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Phyllis Edwards Weed; daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda & Arnie Orr, Sharon & Ron Roberts, Janet & Shannon Sheppard; daughter Cathy Weed; brother, Melvin Allen Weed; former son-in- law, Jeff Lovett; grandchildren that kept him young, Chris & Lauren Lovett, Charlie & Collin Roberts, Parker & Kylie Sheppard and Grayson Weed; aunt, Frances Mitchell; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00am at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Mac Palmer and Rev. Chip Cranford from Hebron Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
