Georgia Southwestern State University Grad

Jason Bell of Dacula graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2015 Commencement Ceremony held on Saturday, May 9 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. Bell earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and was one of approximately 300 graduates.

Piedmont College Spring 2015 Graduation

Piedmont College held its spring Commencement ceremonies May 2, 2015, at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center in Demorest. Some 385 students earned Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Education Specialist, and Doctoral degrees.

The following area students earned degrees:

  • David S. Mooney of Dacula earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration .
  • Meredith R. Mullins of Dacula earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History .
  • Shelby L. Myers of Hoschton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts .
  • Alexander R. Sridej of Dacula earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art with highest honors.

Georgia State Law Academic Honors

John Armsby of Dacula received Georgia State Law Academic Honors (Summa Cum Laude). This achievement recognizes College of Law students, in the Class of 2015, with a grade point average of 3.8 or higher. This honors designation is based on performance through the end of the fall 2014 semester.

Berry College Releases Dean’s List

The following students have been named to Berry College’s spring 2015 Dean’s List, according to Provost Kathy Richardson. The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.
