Dacula Wakes Up to Blanket of Snow
The wintry weather created a beautiful scene, but no major impacts were immediately reported.
Gwinnett County woke up to a blanket of snow Tuesday morning, but the wintry weather that closed schools in the western metro didn’t have the same impact here.
As one high school senior texted Patch at 6:33 a.m.:
“I’m on the bus. It’s just beginning to snow. Bad timing. It’ll all melt by end of day”

The snowy weather lasted until after 9 a.m. with no major traffic reports.
Still, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.
