Deceased Man Identified; Autopsy Planned
Gwinnett Police the body of Christopher Landress was found Tuesday afternoon on Flowery Branch Road.

Gwinnett Police released the identity and additional details of the dead body found Tuesday afternoon near Buford.

Police said Christopher Landress, 37, of Buford was found face-down on the ground near 2007 Flowery Branch Road. This is an area in unincorporated Gwinnett County near I-85 and Mill Creek High School.
There were no visible signs of trauma on the body, which was found near a pickup truck.

“It appeared as though the victim had been deceased for several days,” Gwinnett Police Cpl. Michele Pihera said in a news release.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.
