'2012 Your Vote Counts' Dinner Debate to Be Held June 14

Oberholtzer, Korom,  Hunter, or Beaudreau, which will lead our county into the future?  Each of these men are working hard to gain the confidence of the voting citizens of Gwinnett District 3. Join them at the "2012 YOUR VOTE COUNTS" DINNER DEBATE at Stars and Strikes Family Fun Center located at the intersection of Hwy 316 and GA Hwy 8 (old Hwy 29). The debate will take place in the Stratosphere Room beginning at 6pm.  Dinner is available if you want to turn it into a date night by purchasing from the Coach's Corner Restaurant on site.  

The debate will have 5 sections; opening statement, personal video, open questions, candidate questions, and closing statements. Each candidate will open with a 3 minute speech as to what he will bring to the table if elected.  Throughout the debate, 5 minute videos, developed by the candidates, will be shown on the rooms screens.  In addition, each candidate may ask two quesions to the candidate or candidates of his choice. General question and closing statements will complete the debate. Mr. JD Brandon, a three degreed UGA graduate, a past UGA radio DJ and a member of the Debate Society will be taking care the moderator responsibilities.

The debate will cover many issues including the needs of the citizens and current headlines.  Citizens are invited to attend the event.  There will be 100 seats available so arrive early at the event. The Miss Memorial Day Queens will host of the event. The MMDO hosted the, "2008 Dacula Decides Debate" and is working to encourage good citizenship through educational debates before elections.    For more information contact Cynthia Montgomery at Cynthia_sold_it @yahoo.com
