Falcons Win Again, Host Grayson Next Week in Game of Unbeatens

Dacula High is now 7-0 overall after Friday win over Brookwood.

Next week’s Dacula-Grayson high school game will be the biggest game so far this season in Gwinnett County.

Both teams are undefeated and state-ranked, and Friday’s winner at Dacula High School could lock up the championship in Region 8, Class 6A.

Dacula, ranked No. 5 in the state by the Georgia High School Football Daily, is 7-0 overall after Friday’s 35-29 win over Brookwood. Jakob Brashear scored two touchdowns for the Falcons, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.

Grayson, ranked No. 2 in the state, is 8-0 overall after Friday’s 28-0 shutout of Central Gwinnett. Cameryn Brent rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown and Chase Brice threw two TD passes for Grayson, the Post reported. The Rams are 6-0 in Region 8.

Friday’s game between Dacula and Grayson has a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
