Father Makes Plea in Starving Death of Daughter, 10
Report: Eman Moss was accused in the 2013 death of Emani Moss.

The father of a 10-year-old girl who was starved to death in 2013 pleaded guilty to murder Monday morning, apparently escaping the death penalty.
The Gwinnett Daily Post reported Eman Moss accepted a plea deal, and may face life in prison without parole instead of a death order. Sentencing is expected in the next month, the newspaper said.

Moss and stepmother Tiffany Nicole Moss were both charged in the death of Emani Moss, whose burned and malnourished body was found in a trash can at the Coventry Pointe apartment complex in Lawrenceville in early November, 2013.
Detectives believe the girl’s body was burned after she died in the parents’ efforts to hide the crime.

Emani may have been dead for several days before her body was discovered.
Investigators say there were signs of abuse. The young girl was allegedly denied food for several days before she died and she was severely underweight.
Tiffany Moss still faces the possibility of a death sentence, the Post reported.
