The NWS has issued the following statement for north and central Georgia:
FIRE WEATHER...
/ISSUED AT 327 AM EST MON NOV 4 2013/
A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MOST OF NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA FROM 10 AM THROUGH 5 MP TODAY.
THE FIRE DANGER IS DUE TO DRY FUELS AND EXPECTED 10 TO 15 MPH WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 20 TO 25 MPH FROM MID MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. WINDS SHOULD DIMINISH BY 5 TO 6 PM TODAY. INCREASING CLOUDS AND SLIGHTLY LESS WINDS MAY HELP LESSEN FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS ON TUESDAY... BUT WILL HAVE TO MONITOR FOR THIS POTENTIAL AGAIN ON TUESDAY.
