Funeral Today for Oldest Member of Hog Mountain Baptist

Kathleen Knight Wages

Kathleen Knight Wages, age 85 and the oldest member of , passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Mrs. Wages was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Gaddis and Rev. Ollie V. Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in Dacula.

Mrs. Wages was retired from Genesco Shoes as a supervisor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. and Cleo Knight and her brother, Bud Knight. Mrs. Wages is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edwin Wages of Loganville; children: Michael D. and Marcia Wages of Social Circle, Mitchell G. and Lori Wages of Loganville and Kathy and David Hinton of Dacula; sister Fern Knight of Grayson; brother and sister-in-law Ray and Betty Knight of Lawrenceville; grandchildren: Anna and Charles Harris, Clint Hinton and Taylor and Shelby Wages; great granddaughter Tori Harris and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
