Get Crafty With Nature's 5th Season

Each week we feature a business from our hometown of Dacula.This week learn more about Nature's 5th Season.

Sandy Maresca is the owner of located at 3521 Braselton Highway. Maresca first opened her doors 25 years ago and then expanded the business with the Hamilton Mill location in 2004. I recently sat down to talk with Sandy.

Patch: How did Nature's 5th Season get its start?

Sandy: I started 25 years ago doing dry flowers and then it just developed into craft shows and then into a small retail store that just kept building.

Patch: What is the best aspect of owning Nature's 5th Season?

Sandy: It's a wonderful place to work and to be. It's very comforting and mellow. The rewards are meeting and speaking with our customers.

Patch: What is the most challenging aspect of owning the business?

Sandy: Facing today's economy. Keeping up with everything with the economy the way it is.

Patch: What is unique about Nature's 5th Season?

Sandy: We do our own floral designs. We have a lot of creative talent that shows in our displays and in our florals. We like people so we're always customer friendly and service comes first.

Patch: What makes the Dacula community special?

Sandy: That's a good question. I would have to say that all of our customers are very pleasant and very nice to work with. Even if they don't need something they stop in and say hello. The one on one contact with people is amazing.

Nature's 5th Season is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.
