LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — It's been 80 years since Krispy Kreme introduced its signature glazed doughnut. Naturally, the doughnut chain will celebrate the anniversary with an 80-cent deal.
On Friday, Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen glazed donuts for 80 cents when you buy another dozen of any type of doughnut.

The first Krispy Kreme opened on July 13, 1937, and it started selling the glazed donut the next day, according to Thrillist.
