When the 2015 seniors of Dacula High School receive their diplomas Sunday, they will complete the commencement ceremonies for more than 11,000 Gwinnett County Public Schools students.

Dacula will graduate 398 seniors at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Gwinnett Center Arena, the last of the 21 graduation programs for GCPS schools.

At the top of the class are Valedictorian Jennifer Vezeau and Salutatorian Douglas Byron Allen Stewart, the Nos. 1 and 2 seniors academically.

Here’s a quick list of other graduation factoids:

  • Dacula will have 55 honor graduates.
  • Jacque Evangelister of Dacula was named a Broad Scholar, and Chelsey Omoerah was named a Gates-Millennium Scholar.
  • Dacula’s senior class reported 10,297 service hours.
  • The following Dacula students were named Georgia Scholars: Haley Beach and Jessie Rankin.
  • Jacque Evangelister and Caroline Hinton were named Dacula’s male and female Outstanding Senior Athletes.
  • More than 11,000 seniors will graduate from Gwinnett County Schools this year.
  • 83% of the students graduating this year report that they plan to continue their education by attending college or postsecondary schools.
  • The seniors who plan to continue their education have been offered, as of April of 2015, nearly $155 million in academic, athletic, and military scholarships.
