Gwinnett Police Arrest Felony Hit-And-Run Suspect
Police say he backed into a woman's car at a high rate of speed, causing serious injury to her, and sped off.

DACULA, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department identified and arrested a man they accuse of seriously injuring a woman with his car and driving off. Christopher Bruner, 36, of Winder, is facing a felony charge.
On Sept. 4, at the BP gas station at 352 Harbins Rd. in Dacula, a woman parked her car at the air pump to fill her tires.
Police say Bruner was in the gas station around 8 p.m. He used the ATM, shopped around and left. He was seen talking to an unidentified man at 8:12 p.m., police say.

Then, Bruner left in his car. He was seen backing out of a parking spot, stopped for a moment, then continued to reverse "at a high rate of speed," police say.
Bruner hit the woman's vehicle, causing damage to it and serious injury to her, police say. He drove off, heading north on Harbins Road. He never called police nor returned to the scene, police say.
