Gwinnett's Josiah Siska Cut From 'American Idol'
The Dacula 18-year-old didn't make it through "Hollywood Week" on the Fox singing competition.

DACULA, GA -- Daculaβs Josiah Siska wowed judges with his Johnny Cash-inspired audition but, ultimately, didnβt make it past Hollywood.
The 18-year-old was cut during the Fox singing competitionβs βHollywood Week,β which aired Wednesday and Thursday.
βYes...Iβm so so sorry yβall ... I got cut...but itβs been an AMAZING journey and I want to say thank you to everyone at @AmericanIdol,β Siska tweeted Thursday night, shortly after the show aired.

The golf course maintenance worker didnβt receive much air time on Wednesday and Thursdayβs episodes of βAmerican Idol,β which is in its final season.

He had originally won over all three judges with an acoustic version of β(Ghost) Riders in the Sky,β a 1948 country and western standard best known to modern audiences via Johnny Cashβs 1979 recording.
