Halloween Heist: Thief Steals Pumpkin, Candy, Carving Equipment

A thief got into the Halloween spirit with an act of criminal tricks recently at a pumpkin stand on Braselton Highway.

According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the owner of Randy’s Enterprises, of Talmo, Ga., said someone took items from the business’ tent between 11 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 10 a.m. Oct. 6.

The tent was located at 1955 Braselton Highway, according to the incident report.

Stolen were $15 in candy, an $8 pumpkin and $180 in carving kits.
