Observations: Employee drink cups in unapproved containers: drink bottles. Condensation from the interior of the ice cream freezer, dripped into uncovered containers of ice cream; food adulterated. Food discarded. Multiple dented cans found in dry storage. Ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods held >7 days: cream dated 3/7, eggs dated 4/3-4/5. Foods were discarded at the time of inspection. Damaged utensils found in use: spatulas, fry baskets. Sticker residue/old stickers left on food containers in use and on clean food containers.

Observations: Employee drink in unapproved container (bottle) was stored above single-use items & sweetener packets. Drink discarded. A basket of utensils was stored on the hand sink by the dish machine. Chemical bottles, an apron and googles were in the hand sink by the vegetable prep sink; (water was turned off at this sink; CFSM turned the water back on). Hot water at the plate surface of the dish machine measured 136.2F; <160F is too low. Ice buildup and condensation leaking onto food packages inside the walkin freezer. Water pooling on the dish machine clean drainboard; not self-draining. Wash temperature on the dish machine gauge measured 130F; not hot enough. Ice accumulation in ice cream freezer, in line cooler; need to be defrosted & cleaned. Sticker residue/old stickers left on food containers in use and stored clean.

Ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods held >7 days: shredded cheese 4/2/2015; bean sprouts 4/3/2015; bean sprouts 4/5/2015. Food discarded at the time of inspection. Most current inspection report not posted in public view as required. Using gloved hands, employee put his thumb into customers’ bowls, which had raw animal foods in them, and then handled the cooking utensils. He didn’t wash hands, change gloves. Broken handles on all 3 in-use rice warmers; not smooth & easily cleanable.
