Hebron Christian Student Named U.S. President Scholar Semifinalist

Ben Brosofsky, a graduating senior at Hebron Christian School in Dacula, has been named a semifinalist in the 2015 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.

He is one of 565 semifinalists β€” chosen from more than 4,300 candidates β€” selected on the basis of β€œsuperior achievements, leadeship qualities, personal character and involvement in the community and school activities,” according to a press release.

The final selection of scholars will be announced in May. The Commission on Presidential Scholars will select one young man and one young woman from each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. students living abroad, as well as many as 35 more at-large and visual/literary/performing arts students.
