Kroger Grand Opening Set for Thursday

? On Feb. 24, will open its doors for business.

The 94,000-square-foot store, located at 505 Dacula Road, will include a Starbucks, fuel center, bakery, floral department, drive-thru pharmacy and more.

“The new store will not only bring a variety of amenities to our shoppers, but it will also bring nearly 200 jobs in the Dacula area,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “We are honored and excited to open the new Dacula location, and we look forward to becoming a part of this wonderful community.”

On Thursday morning at 10 a.m., Kroger will kick off four days of grand opening celebrations beginning with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a performance by the high school band. is expected to attend the event.

“The opening celebration gives us an opportunity to get acquainted with the community,” says Rex Thayer, manager of the Dacula Kroger. “We look forward to meeting our new shoppers and encourage Dacula residents to come out and enjoy the various activities and events we have planned.”
