I hope everyone is having a good Labor Day here in Dacula. Labor Day celebrates the contributions and achievements of American workers. Made a national holiday in 1894, Labor Day is celebrated across the nation in various ways: a day of rest, parades, picnics, and family gatherings.
As we celebrate the American work-ethic, we need also to celebrate those who create and provide jobs. In this economic depression, I celebrate those who invest their time, talents, and money in Dacula. I salute the American worker and the achievements the worker has made in our City, State, and Nation.
