Lush Cosmetics Re-Opening In Bigger Mall of Georgia Shop

BUFORD, GA — What do you do if you had to close up your shop at Mall of Georgia? If you're Lush Cosmetics, you return and open a store more than three times bigger than your old one.

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is set to re-open at the mall this month in a 2,282 square foot shop.

Taking inspiration from Lush's stores in London, the shop will have a focus on vintage charm — filled with one-of-a-kind, salvaged and reclaimed furniture sourced from all over the country.

The focal point of the store will be 17 consultation stations in the middle of the shop that are designed to provide an enhanced, one-on-one customer experience.

"We are very excited about our new large format location at Mall of Georgia," said Elisa Torres, Lush’s Director of Retail. "Bigger shops, thoughtfully designed with the customer experience in mind, provide more space to demonstrate our ethics, playfully interact with our customers, and present our new and ever growing product range."

As a self-appointed cosmetic grocer, Lush uses the freshest organic fruit, vegetables and essential oils to create the finest and most effective products. While in store, customers are encouraged to choose from fresh cleansing rolls, fragranced bath bombs, bars of solid shampoo, fresh face masks displayed on ice and other innovative products.

Lush is committed to inspiring customers and prides itself on being a community-focused retailer. Through the sales of its Charity Pot hand and body lotion, of which 100 percent of the price goes directly to grassroots charities, Lush has been able to donate $17 million to organizations working to make the world a better place for people, animals and the planet.

Lush has 250 locations across North America, including other Georgian area locations at Perimeter Mall and Lenox Square.
