GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β€” A man was found shot Tuesday morning at a Duluth apartment complex, and Gwinnett County police are investigating it as a homicide, according to department spokesperson.

When officers responded to a report of a shooting at The Mattox on Satellite Boulevard, they discovered a male inside an apartment with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Investigators don’t know why the man was shot, but they don’t believe it was random, said Cpl. Collin Flynn of the Gwinnett County Police Department. Flynn said investigators think a female may have been visiting the victim just before the shooting.
