Meet Dacula's Newest Principals

Holly Warren (Dacula ES) and Jonathan Day (Mulberry ES) were appointed Thursday night by the Gwinnett County School Board.

Holly Warren, currently the assistant principal at Beaver Ridge Elementary School in Norcross, was appointed as principal at Dacula Elementary School.

Jonathan Day was named principal at Mulberry Elementary, where he is currently the assistant principal.

Holly Warren, Principal of Dacula ES

Employment:

  • 2011-present: Beaver Ridge Elementaryβ€” Assistant Principal

  • 2005-2009: Bethesda Elementaryβ€” Assistant Principal

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Educationβ€”University of Georgia
  • Master’s degree in Divinity β€” Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
  • Certification in Educational Policy and Administrationβ€” University of Georgia

Ms. Warren is a member of the 2015 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal Program. She will be filling the vacancy created as Principal Mary Lou Enright retires.

Jonathan Day, Principal of Mulberry ES

Mr. Day is a member of the 2015 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal

Program. He will fill the position vacated by retiring Principal Vivian Stranahan.
