In ceremonies held August 2, 2014, at the University of North Georgia, graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.
James R. Mashburn earned a Bachelor of Arts and commissioned in the U.S. Army Ordinance Corps. Mashburn’s parents are Wendi G. and James W. Mashburn of Dacula, Georgia. Mashburn graduated from Mill Creek High School in Hushton, Georgia in 2010.
