The five newly completed sidewalk projects in Gwinnett County were funded by local-option sales tax revenues.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Several new sidewalk projects in Gwinnett County have been opened to the public.
While contractors are still wrapping up some final details, the sidewalks, built by the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation and funded by special-purpose, local option sales tax money, have been made accessible to pedestrians.
Sections of new, five-foot-wide sidewalk were installed on Burns Road, Dickens Road and State Route 378/Beaver Ruin Road.
