$10,000 Reward Offered in Search for Missing GGC Student
Georgia Gwinnett College student Kelly Nash, 25, has been missing since Monday morning.
A $10,000 reward has been offered in the search for a Buford man who has been missing since Monday morning.
Kelly Nash, 25, was last seen around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning and was discovered missing at 7 a.m., said Gwinnett Police, which issued a missing persons alert Monday afternoon.
He was last seen at his residence on Jimmy Dodd Road in Buford.

Nash, who is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, was last seen wearing blue plaid pajama pants and tan Sperry shoes. He may or may not have been wearing a shirt.
The family has offered the reward for any information leading to Nash’s return (call 678-936-2483 if you have any info).

A Facebook page — Kelly Nash Missing — has been set up by the family to update the community on the search.
The family said on Facebook that due to the bitterly cold weather their search was suspended Thursday, and was to be picked back up Friday morning.
“We appreciate the outpouring of support. Thank you for the prayers, food, well wishes, and all the volunteer work that you have offered. To update you on the current search efforts. Tracy Sargent, a world renowned canine search and rescue professional is working the area with her three search and rescue dogs. The Georgia Gwinnett College senior’s wallet, cellphone and vehicle were left at his home, police said.
His father, Alan Nash, told the Gwinnett Daily Post that search parties, with the help of law enforcement, has been searching a five-mile radius around the residence, searching on four-wheelers, and placing flyers around the area. The Post reported there were no signs of foul play, and that the case for Nash’s handgun was found empty, but his girlfriend wasn’t sure is the gun has stored there.
Nash is a 2008 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville, the Gainesville Times reported.

Alan Nash told volunteers Wednesday night he was thankful of their efforts and “had a good feeling about the outcome,” Access North Georgia reported.
