In the backseat of one of the cars, the officer noticed a teenage male was chewing on something. The officer also smelled burnt marijuana. “I told [him] to open his mouth and could see green leafy material inside his mouth,” the officer wrote in the incident report. “From my training and experience, the green leafy material appeared to be marijuana.”

The officer cuffed the suspect and searched the car, finding more “green leafy material,” a partially smoked joint and an open bottle of alcohol.

The material tested positive for marijuana. According to the incident report, the suspect tried to eat 2 grams of pot. The other weed weighed around a gram.

The teen was arrested and charged.
