- The Gwinnett County Fire Department responded to a Publix distribution center fire on Monday afternoon. The building off Hurricane Trail was evacuated while crews put out the fire with an extinguisher. A hazmat team arrived to determine that nearby Ammonia Refrigerant lines were not damaged or leaking due to the incident. (11Alive.com WXIA)

- The Gwinnett County Police Department arrested more than 80 people in an illegal street race operation on Sunday. The suspects included 68 adults and 20 juveniles. The adults are being held at the Gwinnett Detention Center, about five miles outside of Dacula, while the juveniles were released to parents and guardians. 26 vehicles were impounded. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
